Overview

Reference extension: per-site dark theme and tint, remembered per host and applied to every open tab of the site — over connect.scripting + connect.storage + tab events + content-script messaging. The toolbar icon reflects the active tab's state via connect.action.setIcon.

This extension can

  • •Run scripts on permitted pages — Inject scripts into pages it is permitted to access.
  • •Read your tabs — See your open tabs and windows and when they change.
  • •Store its own data — Keep the extension's own private data on this device.
  • •Context menus — Add items to right-click menus.
  • •Access <all_urls> — Read and change data on <all_urls>.

You approve each permission on your device when you install — and can revoke any of them later.
